In this new era, technology plays a fundamental role in the learning processes of kids and seniors. Nowadays, there are plenty of online educational tools that can help us to boost our students’ interest in classroom, promote the autonomy of learners, foster the collaboration among them and facilitate the communication between instructors/teachers and students. Those tools allow us to teach in a more dynamic, participative and entertaining way.

Now, we will see 7 educational tools that are indispensable:

1. Google Drive

It is an application that derives from Google which allows users to have access to documents, photos or presentations located in the cloud, so people can edit such files from any computer. This application also offers the possibility to share the documents with other people and work on the same document at the same time.

2. Wordle or Tagxedo

Those are applications that allow people to create words. From a text, an image made of words is created. The words that appear more times in the text are considered to be more important and thus, those appear in a larger size. Moreover, Tagxedo allows you to choose the shape of the “wordcloud“. This educational tool enhances soft skills such as creativity among students at the same time, they learn. It is really useful to memorise words and to understand concepts in a visual way.

3. Kahoot

It is an educational platform that allows you to create group activities. You can create a questionnaire and your students should answer the questions from their mobile phones. This will help you to boost the participation and implementation of learners in classroom. It promotes soft skills such as competition and leadership.

4. Symbaloo

It is a virtual desktop. Both learners and professors can use it to store all the contents and links that can be useful and profitable for them.
